Job Overview

Roots and Trees Enterprises invites passionate Retail Sales Associates to enhance our customer shopping experience. This role focuses on promoting and selling natural and healthy food products in our Bengaluru store.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers and ensure a positive shopping atmosphere.
• Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products accordingly.
• Clearly explain the benefits of products such as cold-pressed oils, millets, spices, and other natural foods.
• Conduct product tastings and demonstrations as needed.
• Promote additional product sales through upselling and cross-selling techniques.
• Keep product displays tidy, organized, and replenished.
• Regularly check product expiry and follow inventory management protocols including FIFO and FEFO.
• Assist customers with billing, packing, and carrying purchases.
• Professionally address customer questions and complaints.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of product details, pricing, and health benefits.
• Ensure the store environment is clean and welcoming.
• Manage inventory monitoring and report low stock levels.
• Handle receipt, verification, and proper placement of received stock.
• Inform customers about current offers, loyalty programs, and new products.
• Keep accurate daily sales and reporting records.
• Adhere to company policies as well as hygiene and customer service standards.
• Encourage customers to share their experiences and leave reviews when satisfied.

Candidate Eligibility and Qualifications

• Open to fresh graduates or candidates with no prior work experience.
• Minimum educational qualification: completion of 12th grade.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
• A customer-oriented, positive attitude towards service.
• Willingness to work in a retail store setting.
• Basic familiarity with billing or retail operations is beneficial but not mandatory.
