Restaurant Storekeeper

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Storekeeper to join our team in Goa. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience managing stores within restaurants, hotels, or food and beverage establishments.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily receipt, storage, and issuance of food, drinks, and non-food supplies.
• Verify quantities, quality, expiration dates, and condition of all incoming goods.
• Maintain accurate stock records, including Goods Received Notes (GRNs), invoices, and inventory reports.
• Adhere to FIFO principles and ensure proper storage, cleanliness, and organization of stock.
• Perform regular physical inventory counts and address any discrepancies found.
• Coordinate closely with Kitchen, Bar, Purchasing, and Restaurant Operations teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders promptly.
• Implement controls to minimize wastage, theft, and management of expired or slow-moving items.
• Ensure dry, chilled, and frozen storage areas meet food safety and hygiene standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience as a storekeeper specifically in Food & Beverage or restaurant settings.
• Basic understanding of inventory management processes and proficiency with MS Excel.
• Strong documentation skills and ability to coordinate effectively with vendors.
• Integrity, organization, and attention to detail are essential.
• Willingness to work in a restaurant setting with rotating shifts.
