Reservation Specialist - Holiday Homes

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Senior Reservations Executive to manage and enhance online property listings across prominent booking channels. This position involves handling reservations via Property Management Systems (PMS), guest coordination, and close collaboration with operations to smoothen the guest experience while maximizing booking rates and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and update property listings on platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, and similar websites.
• Create detailed property listings in the PMS and online platforms emphasizing key selling points.
• Operate and maintain the PMS including RMS, Hostfuly, Hostaway, or equivalents for bookings, reporting, and availability tracking.
• Maintain yearly price calendars based on seasons and events.
• Optimize pricing dynamically according to demand, seasonal trends, and market conditions.
• Communicate directly with guests before, during, and after their stay to deliver excellent customer service.
• Relay guest information, special requests, and stay details to the operations team accurately.
• Handle cancellations, extensions, booking modifications, and special requests efficiently.
• Ensure accuracy and synchronization of listings and calendars in line with company policies.
• Prepare basic occupancy and performance reports as needed.

Requirements

• Previous work experience as a Reservations Specialist within the Holiday Homes industry is preferred.
• Practical knowledge of Airbnb, Booking.com, and property management software.
• Excellent communication skills paired with strong customer service aptitude.
• Capability to multitask and oversee multiple property listings effectively.
• Understanding of price setting and revenue management considered a plus.
• Meticulous attention to detail along with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent English; additional language skills beneficial.
