Currently, we support a large Hamburg-based client updating their internal reporting infrastructure. This involves meticulous management of data flow from core systems to decision-makers. As a Reporting Specialist, you will help verify the accuracy, cleanliness, and documentation of data in dashboards and financial reports. This permanent, full-time role offers complete remote work flexibility.

Role Overview

This position suits candidates at the early stage of their careers aiming to understand large-scale financial reporting. You will work closely with senior consultants on the Hamburg project and other assignments, focusing on safeguarding data integrity. Poor system implementations often erode trust in reported numbers; your job is to restore this confidence by thorough data validation and precise report setup.

Since we function as a fully remote team, effective communication and thorough documentation are vital. Your tasks include verifying datasets, designing report layouts, and authoring configuration manuals for client independence post-project. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect financial and operational datasets to detect and correct discrepancies prior to report finalization.
• Support dashboard and automated report configuration using EPM and BI tools.
• Ensure consistency between reporting outputs and source data to uphold a single source of truth.
• Develop and maintain clear technical documentation outlining report construction and data origins.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to transform client needs into practical report designs.
• Format financial presentations and internal documents professionally for clarity and readability.
• Oversee data loading processes and scheduled tasks to guarantee up-to-date report information.
• Test new reporting functionalities thoroughly before client delivery.

Candidate Requirements

• Basic understanding of data architectures and business information flow.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including fundamental formulas and structured data organization.
• Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention when cross-checking data sets.
• Capacity to produce clear, straightforward documentation understandable by non-technical users.
