Remote Researcher

Role Overview

FVN Research is looking for a full-time Remote Researcher to work entirely remotely. This position involves designing and implementing both qualitative and quantitative research projects. Responsibilities include conducting thorough literature reviews, collecting and cleaning data, performing preliminary analyses, and synthesizing insights into well-structured reports, briefs, and presentations. The researcher will collaborate with colleagues to refine research objectives, methodologies, and manage timelines while handling multiple projects simultaneously and adhering to deadlines.

Daily Tasks

• Utilize online databases and research tools to gather relevant data.
• Document research methods and sources meticulously to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain the quality and precision of the data collected.
• Engage in virtual meetings to present findings and recommendations effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Capability to independently design research projects, define research questions, choose suitable methods, and oversee data collection and analysis.
• Strong aptitude for sourcing information from varied materials, conducting detailed literature reviews, and verifying data credibility.
• Proficiency in data organization and interpretation using spreadsheets or fundamental analytics software and communicating results clearly and concisely.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills tailored for different stakeholders.
• Excellent self-management, prioritization, and time management skills to thrive in a remote work setting.
• Familiarity with digital collaboration tools like video conferencing, shared documents, and project management systems.
• High attention to detail, critical analytical skills, and professionalism in managing sensitive or confidential information.
• Academic background in research-intense fields such as social sciences, economics, statistics, data science, or comparable experience.
• Prior research, analytical, or consulting experience, especially within domains relevant to FVN Research, is advantageous.
