Role Overview

As an AI Engineer specializing in Agents, you will design, build, and manage production AI agent systems capable of contextual reasoning, tool utilization, and supervised processes. Your work will directly impact flagship workflows such as call coaching, reporting, ticket classification, and revenue management by transforming promising AI applications into robust, reliable systems with built-in autonomy limits, human oversight, and thorough system integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production-ready AI agent systems and supervised workflows throughout their lifecycle from problem identification to continuous refinement.
• Integrate AI models and agent workflows with APIs, databases, and internal tools ensuring resiliency in operations and error handling.
• Design evaluation frameworks and test datasets to assess performance metrics including accuracy, safety, latency, cost, and reliability pre- and post-deployment.
• Implement foundations of LLMOps encompassing monitoring, version control of prompts/configurations, alerting mechanisms, cost management, and rollback capabilities.
• Collaborate with domain experts and security teams to establish defined autonomy controls, human-in-loop review procedures, escalation routes, and operational documentation.
• Conduct ongoing enhancements based on production feedback and failure analysis, focusing on iterative improvements rather than one-off fixes.
• Create reusable components and best practices to enable safe, scalable AI agent development across teams.
• Remain deeply engaged in coding, system architecture, debugging, and technical decision-making.

Candidate Profile

• Substantial experience in developing and managing production-grade software systems involving complex integrations and distributed workflows.
• Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript, API development, asynchronous processing, cloud services, and database management.
• Hands-on expertise in developing large language model applications, AI agents, automated workflows, or intelligent automation systems.
• Practical knowledge of LLMOps including evaluation, monitoring/tracing, versioning prompt configurations, performance and cost optimization, and incident management.
• Deep understanding of system reliability, security protocols, authentication and authorization, data boundary enforcement, and robust failure handling.
• Experience working with AWS, Databricks, Snowflake, containerization, workflow orchestration, and modern AI tooling is highly advantageous.
• Product-oriented mindset with the ability to convert operational requirements into measurable and maintainable AI solutions.
• A commitment to evidence-based approaches prioritizing monitoring, evaluation, reversibility, and user utility of AI agents.
• Fluency in English and residency within European time zones (UTC+0 to UTC+2) are mandatory.

Compensation

Annual salary range: 85000 to 95000 euros.
