Job Overview
The position of Relationship Manager within the Corporate Liability Group is designed to develop and implement a strategic corporate liability plan tailored to a specific city or region, focusing on acquiring and managing key corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and open new corporate accounts while managing an existing portfolio of clients within the Corporate Liability Group.
- Drive CMS, Trade Processing, and FX transactions with cash-rich corporate clients, particularly targeting digital-first companies, local IT/ITES businesses, and multinational subsidiaries.
- Partner with founders of startups in sectors such as online aggregators, e-commerce, and fintech to offer comprehensive cash and trade solutions and facilitate their onboarding.
- Offer lending products secured by liquid assets or cash, supported by simplified credit assessments.
- Establish strong connections with PE/VC funds, incubators, law firms, and chartered accountants to extend cash and trade services to their portfolio companies and clients.
- Maintain and enhance relationships with current clients by increasing current account balances, term deposits, and transaction volumes across CMS, Trade, and FX products to maximize revenue.
- Cross-sell banking products such as salary accounts and wealth management services to deepen client engagement.
- Collaborate closely with Product Sales Managers and implementation teams across banking products to fulfill these goals.
Requirements
- A graduate degree in any discipline is necessary.
- Postgraduate qualification in any field is preferred.
- Any recognized professional certification or degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of five years experience in acquiring corporate current accounts or related roles.
