Regional Logistics Operations Specialist

Overview

Meta is searching for a skilled Regional Logistics Operations Specialist to lead and manage logistics operations and site services across a portfolio of data center and infrastructure facilities regionally. This position involves coordinating third-party logistics providers, standardizing processes, ensuring inventory integrity, and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley regulations, all while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to enhance logistics workflows and support hardware asset lifecycle at Meta.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and refine regional logistics that include inbound/outbound freight, equipment movement, and inventory oversight throughout multiple data center locations.
• Manage external logistics and site service vendors, ensuring adherence to service agreements and performance standards.
• Leverage data analytics and supply chain reporting to monitor and improve logistics outcomes continually.
• Lead initiatives to harmonize processes across regional sites, developing scalable logistics systems to support growth and operational uniformity.
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and compliance departments to meet Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory compliance standards in logistics operations.
• Act as a regional expert on technical logistics matters, engage cross-functional teams in discussions, and influence system and network design decisions.
• Create and sustain comprehensive operational roadmaps jointly with partners, aligning tactical and strategic logistics objectives with the broader infrastructure supply chain goals.
• Assess the integration of ERP, warehouse management, and transportation management platforms to maintain a unified regional logistics system.
• Evaluate business changes affecting logistics and implement risk mitigation to ensure operational continuity and regulatory compliance.
• Travel approximately 30% of the time to regional locations for operational support, vendor assessments, and driving on-site improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Over six years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or site services within technical infrastructure or data center environments.
• Proven experience managing third-party logistics providers and enforcing compliance and operational standards.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, warehouse and transportation management systems, and supply chain reporting tools.
• Expertise in identifying operational inefficiencies and designing scalable logistics processes across multiple sites.
• Experience supporting logistics operations subject to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance requirements.
• Strong skills in data analytics to monitor performance, identify improvement areas, and communicate insights to relevant stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven ability to integrate AI technologies into workflows for optimization and quality enhancements.
• Experience in responsible and ethical AI use, including risk and bias mitigation and quality assurance.
• Ongoing development of AI-related skills such as prompt engineering and agent orchestration, keeping current with emerging AI tech.
• Prior experience managing logistics in data center environments, including hardware lifecycle and spare parts inventory control.
• Experience influencing logistics strategies regionally and contributing to cross-organizational initiatives.

Compensation

The expected annual compensation ranges from $115,000 to $163,000, with additional bonuses, equity, and benefits. Salary reflects base pay and excludes incentives.
