Receptionist

Role overview

Radisson BLU Hotel Athlone, part of The iNUA Collection, is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Receptionist to become the first point of contact for guests. This role is central to creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering a smooth, memorable stay experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests warmly and help create a strong first impression.
• Handle guest arrivals and departures, including check-ins, check-outs, payment processing, and compliance with company procedures.
• Deliver high-quality customer service by answering questions and resolving guest concerns quickly and professionally.
• Operate the switchboard, route calls appropriately, and share information with guests as needed.
• Keep the reception desk and surrounding area neat, orderly, and presentable.
• Support the team with basic administrative duties such as filing and photocopying when required.

Qualifications and expectations

• Must be available to work on a full-time basis.
• Prior experience in hospitality, ideally in a hotel setting, is preferred.
• A strong commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence is important.
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills are needed to interact with guests from varied backgrounds.
• Good organisational ability and close attention to detail are required.
• Hands-on experience with Opera PMS is required.
