Role Overview

This full-time Storeperson position is based at the Marley site in Manurewa. The role involves managing incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring smooth daily operations while emphasizing safety and efficiency. It is ideal for someone experienced with warehouse environments and forklift operation, who is motivated by continuous improvement and quality results.

The position requires working on rotating shifts from Monday to Friday, with morning hours between 7:00am and 3:00pm and afternoon hours from 3:00pm to 11:00pm. The company provides uniforms, and there are opportunities for overtime.

Key Responsibilities

Handling the receipt and inspection of incoming goods, ensuring compliance with MPI standards.
Maintaining a robust Health & Safety culture by organizing workspaces and storing stock appropriately.
Ensuring accuracy in inventory through daily stock counts and supporting replenishment efforts.
Upholding high housekeeping standards across the warehouse and yard areas.
Efficiently processing customer orders with attention to detail.
Identifying potential health and safety hazards and collaborating to maintain a secure work environment.
Safeguarding stock and managing material supplies to production lines.
Performing general warehouse and yard duties as needed.
Supporting additional warehouse tasks to aid overall site operations.

Candidate Requirements

2 to 5 years’ experience as a Storeperson or in a similar warehouse role, with RF scanning experience considered beneficial.
Background in warehouse, distribution, production, or manufacturing settings.
Good physical fitness to handle daily operational demands and deadlines.
Strong dedication to Workplace Health & Safety principles.
High attention to detail, especially regarding inventory and order accuracy.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within a team.
Reliable, proactive, flexible, punctual, and eager to learn with a positive attitude.
Possession of a current forklift licence is essential.
