Position Summary

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to oversee project quantities, cost estimation, billing, contract management, and cost control related to infrastructure developments. The individual will ensure compliance, accurate work measurement, timely invoicing, and robust cost management throughout project phases.

Key Duties

• Derive quantity take-offs, bills of quantities (BOQ), and cost estimates based on project designs and specifications.
• Confirm executed quantities and track project expenses compared to approved budgets.
• Prepare and process client running account bills and approve subcontractor invoices.
• Handle contract administration including changes, claims, and variations.
• Assist in tender preparation, procurement, and evaluate commercial bids.
• Collaborate with project management, planning, and finance teams to report costs and control projects.
• Maintain thorough commercial documentation, measurement records, and contracts.
• Generate periodic reports on costs, billing status, and commercial performance.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant field.
• Possesses 5 to 15 years of experience in quantity surveying specifically for infrastructure projects like roads, highways, railways, metro systems, bridges, airports, or water-related developments.

Essential Skills

• Expertise in quantity take-off and BOQ preparation.
• Proficient in cost estimation and maintaining budgets.
• Knowledgeable in contract and claims management.
• Experienced in billing processes and validating payments.
• Skilled in rate analysis and tendering procedures.
• Advanced capabilities in MS Excel, AutoCAD, Primavera or MS Project, and SAP/ERP software.
