Job Overview
Roadstone Ltd. is inviting applications for the full-time role of Quality Technician at its Carrigtwohill site in County Cork. This position entails delivering accurate and reliable laboratory test results to support the business, troubleshoot technical issues, and meet performance targets.
Key Duties
- Comply strictly with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
- Execute tasks following precise and established procedures.
- Collect material samples from company sites, client locations, and manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with managers as well as production and commercial teams to understand challenges and develop solutions.
- Work closely with Technical Managers regarding product quality, process efficiency, and sustainability initiatives.
- Provide assistance during internal and external audits.
- Maintain accurate documentation, update databases, uphold quality control systems, and manage QC equipment.
- Conduct site inspections to investigate and resolve complaints.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Candidate Profile
- Possession of a relevant third-level qualification is preferred.
- Applicants with 1-2 years of laboratory or construction industry experience are ideal; however, training will be offered.
- Strong record-keeping abilities and keen attention to detail.
- High proficiency in computer applications and effective communication skills.
- Report writing capabilities and aptitude for teamwork.
- Flexibility to work at various locations within the region.
- Motivated, self-driven, and committed to personal and organizational success.
Essential Requirements
- Relevant certification in Health & Safety or a comparable qualification.
- A positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Valid clean driving license (company vehicle provided).
- Proactive, well-organized, results-focused, and self-motivated personality.
- Strong IT skills and interpersonal communication abilities.
