Quality Assurance Lead

Role Overview

An experienced Quality Assurance Lead is needed to strengthen quality practices across Agile delivery squads in Dublin. This 12-month contract is hybrid, with two days required onsite, and may be extended. The role is set to begin immediately, with a rate of up to €420.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct QA efforts across multiple Agile teams and ensure testing activities stay aligned with delivery goals.
• Define and maintain the test approach, quality controls, and release-readiness standards.
• Assess quality-related risks and advise on whether releases are fit to proceed.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and wider business stakeholders to keep quality expectations aligned.

Required Experience

• Demonstrated background as a QA Lead or Test Lead within Agile environments.
• Strong capability in stakeholder coordination, influence, and team leadership.
• Practical experience with automated testing, API testing, and CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, and Cursor to improve test execution, defect review, documentation, and QA throughput.
• Sound judgement in balancing timelines against quality standards and making Go/No-Go release decisions.

Engagement Details

This is a 12-month contract assignment with the possibility of an extension. The role is based in Dublin and follows a hybrid working model with two onsite days each week.
