Role overview
This position focuses on maintaining and improving the company’s quality framework across internal operations and customer-facing processes. The role supports compliance with ISO 9001 and related pharma, sustainability, and product-regulatory requirements while partnering with internal teams and external auditors.
Key responsibilities
- Keep the Quality Management System documentation current, including the quality manual, procedures, and work instructions, while ensuring alignment with customer specifications, internal standards, ISO 9001, and pharma-related requirements.
- Track, review, and refine operational processes and the wider quality system on an ongoing basis.
- Manage quality tracking tools and metrics such as CCAR, SCAR, and operational closure rates to spot trends, unusual patterns, and improvement opportunities.
- Support the setup, upkeep, and execution of ISO certifications, ISCC sustainability standards, and GDP/GMP practices.
- Carry out root-cause investigations for issues arising from customer complaints or internal non-conformances.
- Help maintain compliance with Halal and Kosher certification requirements as they relate to product and service quality.
- Act as a contact point during audits by customers, principal suppliers, and certification organizations.
- Work with Purchasing and Product Management to respond to customer questions on RoHS, REACH, and similar regulatory matters.
- Support the QA/QC Assistant Manager in delivering additional projects assigned by management.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Science, or another relevant technical field.
- At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control in the chemical or manufacturing sector is preferred.
- Fresh graduates and entry-level applicants who are eager to learn are encouraged to apply, with training provided.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of, or familiarity with, chemical regulatory requirements is an added advantage.
