About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Python Engineer to join a cutting-edge large language model (LLM) company remotely. This full-time position allows you to work from anywhere and offers a competitive salary commensurate with your experience. The role involves developing and fine-tuning AI models by generating proprietary high-quality datasets and benchmarking their performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, optimize, and maintain high-performing Python code aimed at training AI models.
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to benchmark AI model outputs and identify areas for enhancement.
- Assess and prioritize AI-generated responses to user inquiries across various domains, ensuring they meet established standards.
- Lead supervised fine-tuning efforts by producing and managing task-specific datasets with rigorous quality standards.
- Collaborate closely with researchers and annotation teams to implement reinforcement learning with human feedback, improving model reward functions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Expertise in Python programming and extensive experience with libraries and frameworks applicable to AI and machine learning.
- Hands-on experience with supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning involving human feedback (RLHF).
- Deep understanding of AI evaluation techniques and benchmarking methodologies.
- Strong skills in designing Python solutions for data generation and AI model optimization.
- Knowledge of methods for evaluating and ranking AI model responses effectively.
