Overview
Join Transport for NSW as a Project Quality Representative based in Gundagai, NSW. This permanent full-time position offers the chance to contribute to impactful projects involving a wide range of concrete construction and pavement maintenance works. You will be working in a close team environment delivering projects essential for NSW's infrastructure while upholding safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver diverse concrete projects including slab replacements and pavement maintenance activities.
- Collaborate closely with a skilled team to safely and efficiently complete construction and maintenance works.
- Operate primarily within a 200 km radius of your depot with occasional travel to other regions as project needs arise.
- Work away from home during project durations as required, with accommodation and allowances provided.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Use Microsoft Office tools alongside operational software such as Knowledge Asset Vision (KAV) to assist in project delivery and reporting.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in concrete construction and pavement work is essential.
- Strong focus on safety and teamwork to achieve quality outcomes.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, field-based work environment.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home when project demands require.
Mandatory Qualifications and Licenses
- Valid Traffic Control Ticket.
- Holding a White Card (Construction Induction).
- Worker on Foot Ticket.
- Possession of a current driver's licence.
- Basic computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Skills
- Truck driving license.
- Experience using operational platforms such as Knowledge Asset Vision (KAV).
