Project Manager - Operations Engineering

As a Project Manager specializing in Operations Engineering, you will oversee the full project lifecycle encompassing assessment, design, execution, and performance qualification stages, ensuring successful delivery of new and expanding facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution for various building formats within North India region, including new center setups, capacity expansion, and relocations based on business needs.
• Manage project management initiatives such as standardization, energy conservation programs, and productivity improvements.
• Ensure on-time, safe, and high-standard delivery and handover of facilities across multiple business formats.
• Collaborate with Real Estate (RE) Team for site visits, due diligence, and feasibility assessments.
• Finalize conceptual layouts aligning with operational requirements.
• Prepare Developer and Amazon scopes of work along with cost estimates and capital expenditure requests.
• Select and manage Project Management Consultants (PMC) and resources.
• Coordinate with Procurement to evaluate and finalize project vendors.
• Oversee material requirements, tracking from procurement through implementation.
• Monitor onsite activities ensuring quality and adherence to project goals.
• Facilitate snag-free handovers to Facilities Team and coordinate with Launch Team to prepare sites for operational commencement.
• Maintain strict budget compliance with zero loss time incidents (LTI).
• Generate weekly progress reports and ensure timely project closure including financial aspects.

Performance Metrics

• Achieve over 95% On-Time In-Full (OTIF) project execution for timely facility launches.
• Maintain budget discipline with less than 5% cost overruns.
• Ensure zero Lost Time Injuries (LTIs) across all projects.
• Adhere to safety and statutory compliance standards at rates exceeding 95%.
• Complete all project management initiatives fully and punctually.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
• Engineering experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Background in fast-paced industrial, automated, logistics, production, or manufacturing settings.
• Proven project management expertise.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of automated equipment such as packaging machinery, sortation, and conveyor systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or Technology is favored.
