Project Manager

Role overview

We are recruiting for a position with a Haystack partner in Germany. The role focuses on driving technical projects through to successful delivery, with particular attention to system readiness and mission support.

Key responsibilities

• Steer the execution of technical projects and make sure systems are ready for launch or operational use.
• Work closely with multiple teams to keep delivery aligned and mission objectives on track.
• Identify project risks and issues early, then put practical mitigation measures in place.
• Provide hands-on technical support during integration, testing, and launch activities.
• Manage upgrades, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting for complex systems.
• Maintain adherence to aerospace-related standards and regulatory requirements.

Candidate profile

• At least 5 years of experience in technical project management, ideally across engineering, IT, or aerospace environments.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively.
• Experience working with complex technical environments such as ground stations or integration labs.
• Working knowledge of regulated frameworks and standards such as ECSS and ISO.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong track record in stakeholder coordination.
