Char Cosmetics is an Asian-Australian beauty brand expanding internationally through retail and digital platforms. The company is seeking a highly organised Project Manager to oversee cross-functional projects spanning marketing, eCommerce, retail, creative, and operational areas.

Role Overview

This position involves managing projects from initiation to delivery within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, coordinating contributors from multiple time zones, and ensuring timely completion. The Project Manager will be integral to structuring workflows and driving successful execution of company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from initial planning through execution, delivery, and handover phases.
• Create and maintain project timelines, milestones, role assignments, and identify dependencies.
• Coordinate efforts across internal teams, contractors, agencies, vendors, and external partners.
• Track project deliverables and proactively detect potential delays, risks, or gaps in information.
• Facilitate effective communication between departments and across various time zones.
• Translate broad objectives into clear, actionable project plans.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation including status updates, meeting notes, and follow-up tasks.
• Manage multiple concurrent initiatives in marketing, product launches, retail, eCommerce, and operations.
• Contribute to refining internal workflows and project management tools as the company scales.

• Proven track record in managing comprehensive projects from conception to completion.
• Highly organised, proactive, and adept at prioritising competing demands.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders professionally.
• Experience thriving in fast-paced startup or high-growth contexts.
• Strong foresight to identify and address potential delivery challenges.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration software platforms.
• Ability to work with autonomy while maintaining transparent team communication.
• Experience in beauty, consumer products, retail, eCommerce, marketing, creative production, or agencies is a strong advantage.
