Position Overview

The PMO role is a key element of the Engineering department at the Sligo, Ireland location. This position supports the execution of long-term projects by implementing structured governance, integrated scheduling, portfolio coordination, and reporting. The PMO ensures projects at the site are consistently planned, prioritized, monitored, and delivered, providing transparent visibility into milestones, dependencies, risks, resources, and impacts on manufacturing operations.

This role collaborates internally and externally to maintain cohesive project schedules, coordinate governance activities, assist in prioritization decisions, and furnish timely reports, thus facilitating effective decision-making across the site's project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and oversee integrated project timelines for assigned site projects and workstreams.
  • Collaborate with project teams to define critical milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, actions, and key decision points.
  • Maintain a unified site project schedule aligned with project work, site priorities, resource availability, and manufacturing limitations.
  • Coordinate with business planners and stakeholders to minimize disruptions to commercial planning and operations.
  • Monitor and communicate progress on milestones, project readiness, schedule modifications, and governance decisions.
  • Prepare governance materials including dashboards, status updates, action logs, risk and issue registers, and decision documentation for leadership.
  • Organize and facilitate project governance meetings, managing agendas, outputs, follow-ups, escalations, and action tracking.
  • Support project prioritization through data analysis on schedule impacts, resource constraints, risk exposure, and interdependencies.
  • Ensure uniformity in project management tools, templates, reporting standards, and PMO practices across site projects.

Required Competencies

  • Solid understanding of PMO best practices including governance, integrated scheduling, project controls, portfolio reporting, and milestone tracking.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders under tight deadlines and competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience maintaining project schedules, dashboards, risk and issue logs, action tracking, and decision records.

Educational and Professional Qualifications
