About the Role
Project Engineers in the civil sector are key players in designing, developing, and managing construction projects. They are involved in evaluating risks, costs, and materials, and providing technical expertise and innovative solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate potential risks, material needs, and cost factors for projects.
- Offer technical guidance and inventive problem-solving for construction-related challenges.
- Manage and supervise projects from initiation to completion, ensuring construction quality and safety.
- Lead construction teams and oversee on-site progress.
- Participate in feasibility analysis and prepare bid proposals and environmental impact documentation.
- Ensure adherence to legal, environmental, and health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with contractors, architects, and other stakeholders.
- Utilize CAD and other tools to design infrastructure frameworks.
- Plan and schedule the acquisition and delivery of materials and equipment.
