Project Director - CSA & Fit-Out for Mission Critical Data Centres

About the Role

We are collaborating with a premier European contractor to find an accomplished Project Director to spearhead the Civil, Structural & Architectural (CSA) and Fit-Out operations for a landmark mission-critical data centre located in Frankfurt, Germany. This pivotal position offers the chance to steer a large hyperscale construction project from early stages through to completion, while managing a skilled project team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all CSA and architectural fit-out components of the flagship data centre project.
• Supervise civil engineering tasks including structural concrete, steel fabrication, building envelope installation, and advanced fit-out work.
• Collaborate effectively with mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP) teams alongside design and commercial units to ensure flawless execution.
• Manage schedule adherence, quality standards, safety protocols, and financial aspects throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recruit, develop, and drive a multidisciplinary on-site team toward high performance.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable track record managing large-scale CSA packages for leading contractors.
• Extensive experience in structural construction, building envelopes, and specialized fit-out projects.
• Preferably experienced in data centres, mission-critical facilities, life sciences, semiconductor, or comparable technically demanding sectors.
• Strong leadership capabilities combined with commercial savvy and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Familiarity with the German construction industry and VOB contracts is a plus.
