Role Overview
The Project Coordinator will play a key role in facilitating the planning, organisation, and execution of funded educational programmes across the School of Coding & AI and its broader group. Working closely with the Project Manager, delivery teams, and external partners, you will ensure programmes are well-organised, documented, compliant, and delivered according to timelines and funding requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and managing funded education, employability, and skills development programmes.
- Maintain project documentation including plans, trackers, action logs, risk logs, and delivery records.
- Organise and coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document action items, and follow up with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support onboarding and mobilisation of new programmes including timeline and documentation management.
- Monitor learner data such as enrolment, attendance, engagement, completion status, and progression.
- Help prepare programme reports for leadership, funders, and partners.
- Ensure all project and learner records and compliance evidence are accurate and audit-ready.
- Collaborate with delivery teams to gather updates, identify challenges, and assist with timely resolution.
- Track critical deadlines and milestones, escalating issues when necessary.
- Engage with local authorities, employers, training providers, subcontractors, and other partners as needed.
- Support data collection, document control, and funding compliance checks.
- Contribute to report, presentation, and performance update preparation.
- Coordinate programme reviews, learner progress meetings, and partner communications.
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes, trackers, and communication flows.
- Provide general project administration and coordination across funded programmes.
Candidate Profile

Requirements
- Experience in administration, coordination, project, or programme support roles.
- Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to handle multiple deadlines and priorities effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working with data, documentation, trackers, and reports.
- Ability to accurately follow processes and keep clear records.
- Proactive problem-solving attitude and persistence in following up actions.
- Professional interaction with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Desirable attributes:
- Experience in education, training, employability projects, apprenticeships, adult skills, or funded programme environments.
- Understanding of funding compliance, learner records, and audit procedures.
- Familiarity with projects linked to governmental bodies such as local authorities, ESFA, DfE, UKSPF, or Skills Bootcamps.
- Experience using CRM, learner management, MIS, or project management software.
- Interest in advancing toward a Project Manager position in the future.
