Key Responsibilities

Manage the entire production lifecycle from development handoff to final delivery for multiple categories including ready-to-wear, bridal, accessories, and special projects.
Create and oversee seasonal production schedules, ensuring all deadlines and milestones are met.
Monitor ongoing production progress with factory partners domestically and abroad.
Proactively identify production challenges and implement practical solutions to maintain timelines.
Handle concurrent production demands including multiple seasons, restock orders, special initiatives, and custom-made items.
Ensure all product lines conform to Markarian’s high standards for quality, construction, and timely delivery.
Establish and nurture strong relationships with manufacturing vendors and suppliers globally.
Source new factories and negotiate timelines and capabilities as needed.
Partner closely with vendors to facilitate smooth communication and successful production outcomes.
Evaluate factory performance and seek opportunities for operational improvements.
Conduct thorough quality control by reviewing samples and approvals to confirm fit, construction, embellishment, and finishing meet standards.
Coordinate any necessary repairs or corrections during production.
Collaborate with Design and Technical Design teams to uphold product integrity from prototype to bulk manufacturing.
Communicate production status, timelines, and risks transparently with cross-functional teams including Sales, E-Commerce, Marketing, Customer Service, and Accounting.
Support seasonal product launches, wholesale shipments, and bespoke order fulfillment.
Monitor production expenditures, manage budgets, and work closely with Accounting on vendor payments and invoice review.
Maintain accurate production documentation including reports and scheduling records.
Continuously assess and enhance production processes, creating operational procedures and reporting tools to scale business effectively.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of seven years' experience managing production within luxury fashion or high-end apparel sectors.
Proven background working with both domestic and international manufacturing partners.
Deep understanding of luxury garment construction methods, specialty fabrics, embellishment techniques, and production processes.
Experience producing complex garment types such as ready-to-wear, eveningwear, or bridal collections preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
Outstanding organizational and project management skills capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
Meticulous attention to detail and sound decision-making capability.
Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships across internal teams and external vendors.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets; familiarity with Shopify and Apparel Magic or similar PLMs is advantageous.
