Production Coordinator

About the Role

Naughty Dog is hiring a Production Coordinator to support its AAA game teams and help keep production organized across multiple disciplines. The studio is looking for someone who can contribute to the development of production processes while handling day-to-day coordination work in a fast-moving creative environment.

The studio has a long history of creating acclaimed, story-driven games and is currently working on Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet. This role is part of a growing production group that supports the studio’s ongoing projects and workflow improvements.

Candidates must be willing to work in the studio on a hybrid basis.

What You’ll Do

• Support development teams directly by updating schedules, sharing studio-wide progress updates, and documenting meetings and discussions.
• Help track tasks and bugs using internal production tools.
• Keep communication flowing between different teams and disciplines.
• Maintain accurate task assignments and ensure tracking systems stay up to date.
• Coordinate the movement of assets and information across teams.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, and progress so deadlines are met.
• Help identify blockers and support teams in removing obstacles that slow progress.
• Assist producers and leads with building and maintaining production pipelines.
• Collaborate with the tools team by sharing feedback on production tracking software.
• Take part in internal playtests and pass along useful feedback to the appropriate stakeholders.
• Take on additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• A college degree, or at least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, Word, and Google Workspace.
• Strong communication ability, both with groups and in one-to-one conversations, along with clear written and verbal expression.
• Comfort with learning new tools and technology quickly.
• Ability to stay calm and positive under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and the discipline to complete assigned work carefully.
• Preferred background includes experience in game development or VFX.
• Familiarity with project management approaches such as Waterfall or Agile.
• Experience using project management and scheduling tools such as Jira, Shotgun, Microsoft Project, or similar systems.

Compensation

This position pays an estimated hourly base rate of USD 34 to USD 43.

The final pay may differ depending on job-related factors such as skills, experience, knowledge, and location.
