About the Team

The Professionally Generated Content (PGC) team at TikTok drives the expansion and advancement of a premium content ecosystem focusing on verticals like TV & Film, Sports, and Informative Content. The team supports publishers, media organizations, rights holders, and individual creators to develop outstanding content, engage audiences, and build sustainable businesses. Their scope covers ecosystem development, product infrastructure, and distribution strategies to offer a secure, high-performing user experience worldwide.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies for high-quality informative content creators in the US to enrich TikTok’s creative and value offerings.
• Analyze content trends, landscape, and ecosystem conditions to identify new opportunities within informative content.
• Collaborate closely with publishers, media partners, and educational content creators to understand their requirements and collaborate with Product Management to translate insights into product development.
• Work cross-functionally with Regional Partnerships, Content Operations, Product Management, and Data Science teams to enhance product efficiency and user experience, focusing on timely, accurate content delivery.
• Bridge strategic communication between Product Management and business units by translating complex business needs into clear proposals for product investments aimed at fostering the informative content ecosystem.

Candidate Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• At least 3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy, preferably within high-growth technology firms.
• Excellent proficiency in English, with strong communication, persuasion, organizational, and execution skills; ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal oversight.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking capabilities, skilled at understanding complex business challenges, defining problems, and structuring solutions. Experienced in quantitative modeling and crafting business cases.

Preferred Qualifications

• SQL skills considered advantageous.
• Experience with two-sided marketplaces, platform business models, or product strategy roles.
• Knowledge of creator economics, digital publishing, or content partnership frameworks especially relating to informative content media.
• MBA or other advanced degrees preferred.

Salary and Benefits

The annual base salary for this role in the designated city ranges from $108,800 to $288,000. Compensation varies based on qualifications, experience, and location and can include bonuses, incentives, and restricted stock units.
