Role Overview
As a Platform Product Owner, you will crucially contribute to developing shared services within our EcoOne product suite. These services include identity management, organizational hierarchies, our design system, data and analytics infrastructure, and a specialized AI platform. Collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture teams, you will transform strategic roadmap initiatives into high-quality, measurable, and supportable software outcomes that are used broadly across products and support thousands of customers from launch.
This role is pivotal in advancing our AI-first product suite, enhancing customer journeys from compliance toward predictive capabilities, embedding AI as a core platform feature rather than an add-on.
Key Duties
- Translate strategic product roadmap items into well-defined epics, features, and user stories.
- Drive daily product delivery by providing engineering teams with clear direction and timely decisions.
- Maintain and prioritize product backlogs by balancing customer needs, support concerns, technical constraints, and delivery objectives.
- Leverage AI tools like Anthropic Claude to expedite specification development, backlog grooming, data analysis, and quality assurance acceptance.
- Collaborate on solution architecture with cross-functional teams, bringing technical expertise and understanding of AI and large language model concepts.
- Manage scope during development to safeguard objectives and timelines, escalating major changes for strategic resolution.
- Coordinate release readiness ensuring all documentation, release notes, operational processes, and support structures are completed.
- Define acceptance criteria, assist in testing and quality assurance, and validate the measurability of delivered features post-release.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum two years experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in software product delivery, ideally focused on platforms, infrastructure, or shared services.
- Fast-paced, inquisitive, and business-aware mindset with a strong grasp of product decision rationales to maintain delivery momentum.
- Proficient in daily use of AI tools to enhance specification creation, backlog grooming, data evaluation, and product delivery effectiveness.
- Strong technical acumen, comfortable discussing APIs, data structures, architectural concepts, and delivery trade-offs with engineering teams.
- Capable of influencing cross-team decisions without direct authority amidst competing priorities.
- Experience with AI-integrated product features, understanding what qualifies these as production-ready beyond prototypes.
- Knowledgeable about AI governance, data privacy, and compliance in regulated, multi-jurisdictional contexts like GDPR and SOC2.
