Product Manager

About the Role

We are developing a live software product tailored for clients in legal and regulated sectors. With paying customers already, the role requires you to take ownership of the product roadmap and lead its strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a prioritized, sequential, and well-justified product roadmap that aligns with engineering teams and investor expectations.
• Define features and detailed requirements spanning the entire platform.
• Establish consistent feedback mechanisms with customers and pilot users to translate their input into actionable product enhancements.
• Ensure release readiness by collaborating with implementation leads to confirm delivered features match specifications.
• Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to stay abreast of rapid market developments within the sector.
• Prepare and update the product story for investors on a quarterly basis.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven track record of delivering B2B SaaS products, preferably within legal technology, regulatory technology, or enterprise workflow solutions.
• Ability to author precise functional specifications suitable for engineering teams to implement.
• Experience communicating directly with senior legal and compliance professionals.
• Strong interest in AI applications within regulated industry contexts.
• Comfort with forming and revising opinions based on team discussions and evolving insights.

Additional Details

• Ownership: You will independently build and manage the product function without inheriting an existing team.
• Autonomy: You are expected to write the roadmap independently and exercise judgment without needing approval for every choice.
