Role Overview

As a Product Designer at Nevam, you will play a crucial role in shaping the look, feel, and functionality of a category-defining, AI-native customer experience platform. You will work closely with real customers solving complex challenges to design products that eliminate the enterprise visibility gap. This is not just screen design but involves deep engagement with platform design and conversational AI experiences, influencing both immediate and long-term product growth.

Your Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end design process including discovery, user flows, wireframes, visual design, prototyping, and usability testing.
Create clear acceptance criteria and user stories guiding feature definition from discovery through delivery.
Design conversational AI interactions allowing users to engage with the platform's LLM for journey building, insight interrogation, and business context layering, emphasizing trust and clarity around uncertainty.
Partner with the Lead Engineer to prioritize and sequence shipping of new features.
Develop and maintain a consistent design system to support product scalability.
Conduct user research with enterprise clients to validate ideas prior to development.
Collaborate effectively with distributed engineering teams across time zones, driving design decisions asynchronously.

Who You Are

A hands-on designer with a minimum of 2 years experience in product design within startups or fast-paced environments.
Possess a strong portfolio showcasing user-centered, data-driven design for complex or enterprise-grade tools.
Experienced in designing AI-powered features, especially conversational LLM interfaces, not just experimenting with AI tools superficially.
Comfortable prototyping and shipping using AI-assisted development tools within IDE environments like Claude Code, beyond standard UI plugins.
Have actively influenced product decisions, including challenging scope or feature priorities.
Adept at collaborating directly with engineering teams on trade-offs without depending on a product manager intermediary.

Desirable Experience

Familiarity with customer journey mapping, marketing technology (martech), or enterprise SaaS platforms.
Experience working with distributed or offshore engineering teams.
