Overview

The Producer role at The Daily Wire encompasses full responsibility for planning, executing, and managing the delivery of original video, audio, and digital content that aligns with the company’s brand and editorial vision. This position manages projects end-to-end, from initial approval through final publication, including setting scopes, creating detailed schedules and budgets, coordinating with talent and crews, guiding the creative process, and ensuring deliverables meet quality, timing, and budget expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish project parameters including scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria, leading kickoff and coordination meetings to align cross-departmental teams.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation such as production briefs, plans, RACI charts, and generate comprehensive production calendars and detailed run-of-show documents.
• Monitor project milestones, dependencies, and approvals to ensure timely completion, proactively identify risks, resolve obstacles, and adjust priorities as needed.
• Work intimately with on-camera personalities to develop show concepts, improve performance, and enhance their presence across YouTube and social media channels.
• Create and produce engaging segments, treatments, and formats tailored for a YouTube-centric audience, directing visual and narrative approaches for maximum viewer engagement.
• Analyze audience metrics, trends, and feedback to fine-tune strategies, improving reach and interaction.
• Act as the main creative and production liaison with executives, hosts, and contributors, conveying clear expectations and timelines.
• Manage external partnerships including vendors, production studios, equipment suppliers, freelancers, and post-production teams, handling logistical needs such as travel, permits, and asset management.
• Lead day-of production activities both in studio and on location, swiftly resolving issues while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Oversee the post-production process including review cycles, quality control, version management, captioning, metadata handling, and archival.
• Customize and optimize final content for distribution across YouTube, social media platforms, podcasts, and OTT services.

Required Qualifications and Traits

• Demonstrated expertise in managing production across all phases including pre-production planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination on set or in studio environments.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure with strong decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, maintaining professionalism in all interactions.
• A cooperative, team-oriented mindset that supports collaborative project delivery.
• Strong editorial insight with an instinct for storytelling and narrative flow.
• Familiarity with conservative-leaning audience perspectives and ability to customize messaging appropriately.
• Keen attention to detail, rigorous fact-checking, and commitment to accurate and responsible content presentation.
• Proficiency with production tools including script formatting software, project management platforms, and basic editing applications.
