Processing Officer - Forklift Operator

Role overview

NZ Post is seeking a permanent part-time Processing Officer / Forklift Operator for its Whakatane branch in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. This position is focused on sorting, consolidating, and dispatching parcels and freight so they are ready for courier delivery. The role sits within a team-driven, technology-enabled operation that supports delivery across New Zealand.

Schedule and pay

• Hourly pay of $26.75, plus a forklift allowance paid weekly
• Permanent part-time arrangement
• Monday to Friday, 13:30 to 17:30
• 20 hours each week

What the job involves

You will help manage the movement of parcels and freight through the branch, contributing to timely and accurate dispatch. The work is physically active and requires someone who can stay alert, work safely, and support the smooth running of the site.
