About the Role
Based in Greenwich, Connecticut with a hybrid work model requiring one day onsite, this position reports directly to the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition. The Principal Executive Recruiter is pivotal in leading comprehensive executive recruitment cycles and serving as a key advisor to senior executives and business leaders. The focus lies primarily on recruiting high-level corporate executives such as VP, SVP, and C-Suite roles across the company.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end executive recruitment for senior corporate positions including VP, SVP, and C-Suite levels.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and hiring managers to strategize search approaches, conduct market mapping, and gather talent intelligence.
- Develop and nurture robust pipelines of qualified executive candidates via proactive sourcing, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Act as a trusted consultant to leadership throughout the search and selection processes.
- Deliver a high-quality candidate experience while managing sensitive and complex recruitment assignments confidentially and promptly.
- Guide and mentor recruitment team members by sharing best practices in executive sourcing and recruiting methodologies.
- Work alongside HR and business stakeholders on succession planning and long-term talent development efforts.
- Monitor recruitment metrics and industry trends to shape informed hiring and talent acquisition strategies.
- Represent the organization at networking functions, industry partnerships, and employer branding events.
Candidate Profile
- Possess over 8 years of recruiting experience, with significant emphasis on Executive and Corporate Recruiting.
- Demonstrate a track record of managing full recruiting cycles for VP and C-Suite level appointments.
- Preferably have prior experience at an executive search firm or recruitment agency.
- Exhibit strong influence and credibility-building skills with senior stakeholders.
- Expertise in sourcing, talent mapping, and candidate networking techniques.
- Experienced in handling multiple high-stakes executive searches concurrently.
- Familiar with ATS systems, sourcing platforms, and recruitment technology tools.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management capabilities.
- Capable of working swiftly, professionally, and discreetly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
