Job description

Join the 3E Learning Tutoring Team

3E Learning is looking for passionate Primary and Secondary school tutors to join their team in the Greater Perth area. We specialize in tutoring across a spectrum of subjects and academic levels, incorporating the Australian Curriculum and specialized competitions and exams prep.

Position Responsibilities

  • Deliver tutoring in small groups (up to 12 students) or one-on-one sessions.
  • Follow our in-house structured curriculum carefully designed for the specific academic stage.
  • Customize exercises both in-class and take-home to address each student's unique strengths and improvement areas.
  • Consistently provide informative feedback to students and track their academic progress transparently.
  • Detect challenges early in students' learning and collaborate with the team for timely intervention.

Available Tutor Roles and Subjects

  • Primary Tutors (Years 1–6): Mathematics, English, NAPLAN preparation (Years 3 and 5), Gifted and Talented test prep (reading, writing, reasoning), Australian Mathematics Competition enrichment.
  • Lower Secondary Tutors (Years 7–10): Mathematics, English, Science, HASS; NAPLAN prep (Years 7 and 9); AMC, WAJO, AIMO coaching.
  • ATAR Tutors (Years 11–12): Mathematics Methods, Specialist, Applications; Physics, Chemistry, Human Biology; English, Literature, EALD; Accounting, Economics, Japanese (Second Language).

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • High academic achievement: ATAR 97+ for Primary and Years 7–10 tutors; ATAR 99+ with strong scores in subject areas for ATAR Years 11–12 tutors.
  • Equivalent prestigious academic recognitions (e.g., General Exhibition, Subject Certificates, Olympiad selections) are also welcomed.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts multiple ways until understood.
  • Patience and friendliness, especially with younger students, to create a positive learning environment.
  • Dependability to maintain scheduled sessions that families can rely on.
  • Desirable but not required: current university studies in Medicine, Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Law; prior tutoring or mentoring experience; competition participation; fluency in community languages such as Mandarin, Cantonese, or Japanese.
