Organization Overview
Anudip Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit company established in 2007, registered under the Companies Act, 2013. Partnered with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Anudip empowers youth from underprivileged communities across India by offering industry-aligned diploma and certificate training programs at over 92 centers across urban, semi-urban, and rural regions spanning 20 states. Their focus sectors include retail, micro-finance, IT, digital services, and automation. To date, Anudip has trained more than 100,000 students with a strong emphasis on placements tailored to employer requirements.
Job Role Summary
We are looking for a full-time Placement Officer based in Coimbatore whose primary objective is to facilitate the employment of trained students by establishing and nurturing partnerships with potential employers, sourcing placement opportunities, and organizing both on-campus and off-campus recruitment events. The role involves counseling and guiding learners in resume preparation, interview readiness, and career pathway development. The candidate will monitor placement progress and job retention through continual follow-ups, collaborate closely with training staff to ensure coursework meets market demands, maintain detailed placement documentation, and actively represent Anudip Foundation in relevant professional forums.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience conducting campus placement activities, engaging employer networks, and organizing recruitment drives.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with students, employers, and internal teams.
- Background in career counseling or mentoring candidates to enhance job preparedness and career planning.
- Previous involvement in training or education, particularly related to skill development or vocational training programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference for degrees in management, social work, education, or similar fields.
- Demonstrated empathy and professionalism when working with diverse, disadvantaged youth.
- Strong organizational abilities with proficiency in MS Office and virtual communication platforms.
- Experience in placement services, corporate relations, or recruitment activities is advantageous.
