Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Pharmacy Counter Assistant to join Ballycasey Pharmacy in Shannon, Co. Clare. This dynamic role involves engaging with customers at the pharmacy front, assisting with product queries, and delivering a quality customer experience daily.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and approachable manner to build lasting relationships.
- Collaborating closely with the pharmacy team to maintain smooth day-to-day pharmacy operations.
- Handling stock management practices and supporting visual merchandising to present a tidy and appealing store environment.
- Developing solid product knowledge to confidently inform and support customer choices.
- Promoting the pharmacy’s services in-store to raise awareness and utilisation.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in retail or pharmacy front-of-shop settings is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently within a fast-paced team environment.
- A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service consistently.
- An interest in merchandising and creatively promoting the pharmacy’s offerings.
- Holding an Over-the-Counter (OTC) qualification is an asset but not mandatory.
