Job Summary

This role is ideal for individuals with a detail-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and a knack for problem-solving. Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage accurate and timely payroll processing for Czech in-house payroll cycles.
  • Handle monthly payroll variables based on inputs from various departments.
  • Track and update employee status changes such as new hires, terminations, contract types, and internal transfers.
  • Compute wages from timesheets including extra hours and shift differentials.
  • Apply salary deductions required for local tax regulations, such as company car benefits or fringe benefits.
  • Generate scheduled reports for government and external agencies, covering taxes, insurance premiums, union dues, and more.
  • Register and deregister employees with health and social insurance organizations.
  • Assist with audit activities both internal and external to the company.
  • Produce relevant reports for the Accounting Department.
  • Collaborate with other departments on payroll-related projects.
  • Provide training sessions to team members as necessary.

Annual Duties

  • Oversee year-end tax return processing and employee consultations.
  • Report to employment offices concerning compliance with the Severely Disabled Persons Act.
  • Manage reconciliation processes for health insurance.

Candidate Profile

  • At least two years of experience in Slovak or Czech payroll processing and compliance.
  • Solid understanding of Slovak or Czech payroll legal frameworks.
  • Proficient in English at an intermediate level (B1) and fluent in Slovak or Czech both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in process documentation and training design.
  • Involvement in cross-functional projects.
  • Education in accounting, business, or finance-related disciplines is advantageous.
  • Background in international work environments is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
