About AlgoGroup and the Role

AlgoGroup is looking for a skilled Partnerships and Community Associate based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, working in a hybrid model. This permanent position will involve nurturing ongoing partner relationships and devising innovative strategies to improve collaborations within the pet products industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify influential industry players through research and generate interest to build new partnerships.
• Design and execute systematic processes for partner outreach and relationship management.
• Source new partnership leads from emerging brands, explore business collaborations, and close deals with brand partners.
• Maintain close connections with key partners to understand their visions and business strategies thoroughly.
• Work with senior management and marketing teams to align partnership objectives with internal goals.
• Act as a professional liaison ensuring a positive experience between AlgoGroup and its partners.
• Engage actively with the AlgoGroup community, including pet owners, influencers, and other stakeholders, to support company growth and success.

Candidate Requirements

• At least three years of prior experience in brand collaboration roles.
• A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or a related discipline.
• Excellent networking skills with a natural ability to build and expand professional relationships.
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management capabilities to handle multiple concurrent projects.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on partnership growth opportunities.
• Adaptability to thrive in a fast-moving and dynamic work environment.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese languages (including Cantonese and Mandarin) for communication.
• Preference given to animal lovers or pet owners, though not mandatory.
