Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Packing and Logistics Support Staff to join our on-site team in Coimbatore. This full-time position requires handling the packaging of coir pith products, ensuring they meet stringent quality and safety guidelines, and are correctly labeled and documented in preparation for shipping. Responsibilities include inventory management, assisting in loading and unloading, maintaining a clean and organized packing environment, and liaising with the logistics department to adhere to shipment timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and package products in accordance with established quality and safety standards.
• Ensure accurate labeling and complete documentation for all packages.
• Manage inventory organization and assist with loading and unloading operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the packing and storage areas.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to fulfill shipment schedules efficiently.
• Monitor stock levels and promptly report any damage or inconsistencies.
• Adhere to standard operating procedures to facilitate smooth warehouse and export functions.
• Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to achieve production and delivery targets.

Candidate Requirements

• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to accurately follow packing, labeling, and documentation protocols.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse systems, inventory practices, and shipping or logistics operations.
• Physical capability to stand for prolonged periods, safely handle materials, and utilize standard packing tools.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with supervisors, peers, and logistics partners.
• Dependable and punctual, with a strong commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and cleanliness.
• Previous experience in packing, warehouse work, or logistics support is preferred but not compulsory.
• Basic literacy skills necessary to manage labeling and record keeping; familiarity with local languages is advantageous.
