Role overview
This position is for an Operator II / Technician based at the HP Office in Singapore. It is a full-time, on-site role within a manufacturing and production setting, where the selected candidate will contribute to shift-based operations, hands-on production work, basic equipment support, and compliance with required safety and quality practices.
Compensation
The monthly pay range for this role is SGD 2,200 to SGD 2,800. In addition, a shift allowance of SGD 300 to SGD 400 per month is provided, and CPF benefits apply.
Experience profile
Entry-level applicants and freshers are welcome. Preference will be given to candidates with 0 to 1 year of experience in manufacturing or production environments. Applicants with technical certification or internship exposure may also be considered. Candidates with more than 3 years of manufacturing experience can also be evaluated for experienced-level consideration.
Key duties
The role involves executing production and assembly tasks according to standard operating procedures, helping troubleshoot basic equipment and process issues, and supporting software installation or updates when needed. The position also includes performing yield calculations and other simple numerical work, keeping production documentation accurate, and maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements. Teamwork in a small shift-based group is expected, along with the ability to work independently when necessary.
Skills and capabilities
The ideal candidate should have basic troubleshooting knowledge, strong hand-eye coordination and practical working ability, and comfort with simple computer tasks, especially in MS Excel. Clear reading, writing, and spoken English are important, as is confidence with basic mathematics such as summing figures and calculating yield. Familiarity with production tools, procedures, and workflows is useful, along with good understanding of instructions and reporting. Availability for rotational shifts is required, and collaboration skills with some potential for leadership are valued.
Work schedule
The schedule follows a rotational shift pattern consisting of 12-hour shifts for 2 days and 8-hour shifts for 3 days each week.
