Role overview

This role focuses on end-to-end account servicing for new and renewal business, mainly supporting SME customers, marine cargo insurance, and specialised commercial insurance schemes. The position is suited to someone who enjoys policy administration, client servicing, and working across a varied commercial insurance portfolio.

What you will do

• Manage servicing and administration for SME clients and insurance programmes with speed and quality.
• Respond to client questions and provide support on policies, cover details, and day-to-day servicing.
• Support renewals and retention activity by following up promptly and helping maintain strong renewal outcomes.
• Draft broking paperwork such as quotations, placement slips, cover notes, and policy documents.
• Handle renewals, endorsements, and billing accurately while staying aligned with regulatory expectations.
• Coordinate with insurers and internal stakeholders to progress policy placement and servicing tasks.
• Assist with claims handling, including follow-ups and status updates until resolution for clients.
• Help with client onboarding, product launches, and new business projects when needed.
• Support premium collection follow-ups and keep records and documentation complete and current.
• Contribute to client relationship management and look for opportunities to grow existing business.
• Maintain efficient turnaround times and strong operational discipline in service delivery.
• Take on other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications and experience

The employer is looking for a diploma or university degree, or equivalent professional experience. A background of 2 to 4 years in insurance is required, ideally with exposure to general or commercial insurance. Experience with SME clients or structured insurance programmes will be an advantage. Professional certifications such as BCP, PGI, or CGI are preferred.
