About the Company
A reputable contractor specializing in complex mechanical, electrical, and maintenance projects across sectors such as commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and data centers seeks an Office Administrator to join their procurement team based in Dublin. This position is fully office-based and offers the chance to support a dynamic procurement function by collaborating closely with suppliers, project teams, and internal departments to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of materials and equipment that meet project needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, issue, and monitor purchase orders.
- Accelerate urgent orders to comply with project timelines and milestones.
- Track materials and services from procurement through site delivery and acceptance.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and service providers.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to identify procurement needs.
- Oversee inventory levels and arrange for restocking as required.
- Keep inventory records current and accurate.
- Ensure all procurement documentation is well-organized and audit-ready.
- Maintain procurement databases, records, and filing systems.
- Identify and suggest improvements for procurement processes and administrative efficiencies.
- Offer general administrative support and assist with miscellaneous tasks as needed.
Candidate Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in administrative roles, procurement, or purchasing support positions.
- Experience in the construction, engineering, or related industries is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and related IT skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
- Ability to work autonomously while effectively contributing within a team environment.
- Demonstrated competence in building and sustaining relationships with both internal teams and external partners.
