About the Company
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly receptionist to join our Front Office team, delivering professional and warm service to our international guests. Our property offers a modern working environment situated in a central location with a dynamic team that strives daily to ensure guests experience a smooth and pleasant stay.
The hotel boasts 117 air-conditioned rooms classified as 3-star superior and operates under the Accor group. Conveniently located about 1 km from the main train station and 8 km from highway A5, the hotel is certified Green Key and VDR and features three contemporary conference rooms that accommodate up to 140 participants.
Following an extensive renovation, our hotel presents modern standards tailored to an international clientele. Team spirit, service excellence, and hospitality are key elements of our daily operations.
Job Description & Responsibilities
- Independently perform nightly audit and manage cash handling during the night shift
- Ensure seamless hotel operations overnight, maintaining service quality, standards, and security measures
- Provide professional guest check-in and check-out services and attend to guest needs during the night hours
- Process inquiries and reservations, as well as handle the telephone switchboard
- Generate and verify invoices and manage payment collections
- Conduct regular security and order patrols throughout the hotel premises
- Collaborate effectively with all departments to maintain 24-hour smooth operations
- Ensure accurate data maintenance and execute system closings using Opera PMS and Bizzon software
Qualifications & Requirements
- Completed professional training in the hotel industry or an equivalent qualification
- Prior experience at the front desk or in overnight service is advantageous
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Proficient or working knowledge of Opera PMS and cash register systems is preferred
- Strong sense of responsibility and the ability to work independently
- Reliability, discretion, and resilience under pressure
- Enthusiasm for guest interaction during nighttime hours
- Willingness to work shifts including weekends and public holidays
