Role Overview
The Network Administrator position at ISRM is a contract role conducted remotely. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining and supporting a secure network and system environment. Key duties include configuring and monitoring network equipment, managing user access rights, performing routine system administration, diagnosing and resolving network and system malfunctions, and delivering technical support to both internal teams and clients. The role also involves enforcing security best practices to safeguard data and infrastructure, documenting network setups, updating operational procedures, and collaborating closely with forensic and risk management teams to guarantee dependable and secure network connectivity.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficient in Network Administration and Network Security to manage and secure network infrastructure effectively.
- Experienced in System Administration for maintaining servers, operating systems, and associated services.
- Strong capabilities in Troubleshooting and Technical Support to identify issues and assist users efficiently.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, routing, and switching technologies along with knowledge of security frameworks and best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Possession of industry certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or equivalent. Previous experience in information risk management or forensic investigations is advantageous.
