Role Overview

The National Account Manager for Grocery will lead growth across major national and regional grocery customers, including HEB, Albertsons, Target, Publix, and others. The position is accountable for both winning new business and growing existing partnerships, with the goal of improving distribution, sales velocity, and total account performance. This person will serve as the main contact for assigned accounts and will create strategic plans, run joint business planning, and partner closely with internal teams to expand Cirkul’s reach in grocery.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage revenue, distribution, and velocity targets, while also leading buyer meetings, line reviews, and promotional discussions. You will use POS, syndicated, and internal data to spot growth gaps, shape business plans, and improve trade spend efficiency. The job also includes owning each account end to end, resolving risks such as inventory or supply issues, aligning with marketing, supply chain, and finance, and ensuring deadlines and follow-ups are handled smoothly. You will make decisions using shopper insights, financial impact, and market feedback; maintain strong buyer and category manager relationships; and regularly visit stores to review shelf execution, competition, and shopper behavior.

Background Needed

Candidates should bring 7+ years of CPG sales experience with a strong grocery focus and a history of growing national or regional retail accounts. Experience with retailers like HEB, Albertsons, Target, or similar accounts is important. The role also calls for strong analytical ability, familiarity with syndicated data and category management, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-moving, high-growth environment. Regular work from the Tampa office and weekly travel to customers are required.

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is USD 115,000 to USD 135,000 per year. Total compensation may also include discretionary bonuses or incentives and equity, depending on qualifications, experience, skills, competencies, and location.
