Role Overview

The Mobility Specialist will join Remote's Mobility team, which is committed to facilitating smooth cross-border transitions for employees through immigration and relocation support while ensuring adherence to local laws. This team collaborates closely with partners and internal stakeholders to optimize compliance and relocation logistics, maintaining Remote’s position as a leader in global talent mobility.

Primary Responsibilities

Deliver legal and strategic advice to clients regarding immigration compliance services.
Oversee and manage Remote’s immigration-related products and services to ensure regulatory compliance.
Build and maintain effective partnerships with clients and internal teams.
Develop and manage in-house immigration services to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and revenue.
Prepare, review, and submit visa and work permit applications independently.
Continuously monitor changes in immigration law and update internal documentation to ensure ongoing compliance.
Address escalations promptly, determining when to involve senior review and guiding stakeholders to timely resolutions.
Advise on business travel and sponsorship cases, providing guidance on immigration procedures.
Manage case statuses efficiently using case management and billing software.
Apply immigration expertise to solve complex client cases with solution-oriented approaches.
Work autonomously while collaborating as part of a team, owning daily tasks fully.
Drive improvements in immigration processes through automation and thorough documentation.

Candidate Profile

Proven background in immigration compliance, global mobility, or related disciplines, with a strong emphasis on immigration law and compliance.
Well-versed in immigration procedures and compliance requirements.
Thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments and performs well under pressure.
Experience working within technology companies or rapidly scaling organizations is highly advantageous.
Flexible team player capable of adapting to evolving priorities and workflows.
Excellent communication skills with experience interacting directly with diverse clients.
Strong interest in deepening expertise in global immigration laws.
Experience working remotely or asynchronously with limited supervision is beneficial.
Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).

Compensation and Benefits

Remote is committed to fair and equitable compensation, ensuring salaries exceed local market rates to promote ethical global hiring practices. Salary ranges vary based on role, level, location, and individual qualifications. The annual salary for this position ranges from $29,450 to $74,500 USD.
