Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Supervisor to manage the daily functions of a men's paying guest (PG) accommodation facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations, maintaining discipline, addressing tenant concerns, and overseeing housekeeping and maintenance to create a secure, sanitary, and comfortable living environment.
Key Duties
- Oversee day-to-day activities at the men's PG accommodation.
- Manage resident admissions, departures, room allocations, and documentation processes.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and upkeep of rooms and common spaces.
- Coordinate efforts among housekeeping, maintenance, security, and kitchen personnel.
- Handle resident grievances promptly to reach effective resolutions.
- Enforce discipline and ensure compliance with PG rules and regulations.
- Supervise attendance of housekeeping and other support staff.
- Conduct regular safety and facility inspections.
- Maintain records of occupancy, rent collection, and inventory.
- Arrange emergency repairs and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Generate daily and monthly operational reports for management review.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Graduate degree or diploma in any field.
- Preferably 1–3 years of experience managing PGs, hostels, hotels, or facilities; fresh candidates with strong supervisory skills may also be considered.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution aptitude.
- Basic proficiency with computers, including MS Excel, Word, and email.
- Capability to multitask efficiently.
- Customer service orientation with attention to details.
- Preferred experience includes men’s hostel or PG management along with knowledge of safety, hygiene, and facility operations.
- Flexibility to work shifts and handle emergency situations.
