Role Overview

Apollo Medics Super Specialty Hospital in Lucknow is looking for an energetic, goal-driven Medical Representative to support marketing and business development efforts across any region of Uttar Pradesh. The role focuses on presenting the hospital’s clinical services, specialties, and healthcare programs to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals, with the aim of increasing referrals and strengthening the hospital’s market presence.

Reporting Line

This position reports to the Marketing Manager or the Head of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Present the hospital’s services, specialties, and treatment programs to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and medical professionals.
• Build and nurture long-term professional relationships with referral sources and healthcare partners.
• Visit field locations regularly and meet consultants, physicians, and healthcare institutions.
• Support patient referral generation and broader business growth initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate CME sessions, doctor meets, health camps, and other promotional activities.
• Share clear and accurate details about the hospital’s facilities, specialties, and treatment options.
• Keep daily visit logs, referral details, and market feedback up to date.
• Spot new referral possibilities and business potential within the assigned territory.
• Work with internal teams to ensure a smooth referral flow and a good patient experience.
• Work toward targets linked to referrals, outreach, and business expansion.

Required Profile

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in any discipline. A background in Science, Pharmacy, or Life Sciences is preferred. The employer is looking for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in medical representation, healthcare marketing, or a closely related field. Freshers with strong communication and field marketing ability may also be considered.

Skills and Competencies

The ideal candidate should be a confident communicator with strong relationship-building, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. Familiarity with healthcare services and medical terminology is important, along with a target-focused and self-driven work style. The job also requires regular travel and comfort using MS Office and reporting tools.

Preferred Background

Applicants with experience in hospital marketing, pharmaceutical sales, or healthcare business development will be preferred. Having an existing professional network among doctors, clinics, and healthcare providers in Lucknow and nearby areas will be an added advantage. A professional demeanor and a positive attitude are also desirable.

Compensation

The pay will follow Apollo Medics’ internal norms and will also depend on the candidate’s experience.
