Role overview

Monomark Engineering is hiring a Mechanical Engineer for its Mundra location. The role focuses on keeping equipment and plant assets running reliably through preventive care, responsive breakdown support, and disciplined maintenance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance as well as corrective work after equipment failures.
• Track equipment performance, uptime, reliability, and overall availability.
• Study maintenance indicators such as MTBF, MTTR, downtime, and breakdown trends.
• Document maintenance activities and prepare clear reports for internal use.
• Work closely with operations and maintenance teams to resolve issues efficiently.
• Ensure all maintenance work follows safety procedures and technical standards.
• Inspect mechanical assemblies, hydraulic systems, and rotating machinery.
• Diagnose failure causes and implement suitable corrective actions.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including Kaizen efforts.

Candidate profile

Applicants should hold a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and have 3 to 8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance.
