Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and organize the meat department layout effectively.
• Manage inventory by rotating stock and inspecting for expired products.
• Ensure all merchandise is accurately priced and clearly labeled.
• Follow strict protocols for cold chain maintenance, including thermometer calibration and temperature documentation, as well as proper food handling and expiration date adherence.
• Process Deli Department orders, including slicing and preparing meats, cheeses, and fried chicken while assisting customers.
• Execute ordering and clearance procedures including markups, markdowns, and labeling.
• Prepare deli food orders using equipment such as slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, and deep fryers; also prepare salads and side dishes for display.
• Adhere to all relevant Health and Safety regulations.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this role is $18.30.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
