Job Overview
This role involves engaging with a variety of customers such as doctors, chemists, and stockists frequently as per company directives. You will be responsible for providing scientific insights about company products to medical professionals and driving prescriptions for the company's pharmaceutical brands while adhering strictly to legal and corporate standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Consistently meet and engage assigned customers including doctors, chemists, and stockists per the company's guidelines.
- Effectively promote company products to generate prescriptions aligned with legal regulations and company policies.
- Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets both in terms of product volume and value, focusing on primary and secondary sales.
- Improve territory profitability by expanding or maintaining brand market share and nurturing customer relationships via engagement strategies.
- Oversee appropriate distribution of products throughout the designated area and manage costs such as breakage and expiry.
- Analyze interactions with customers and chemists to refine future sales approaches.
- Collect and relay market intelligence regarding current market trends, promotional impacts, and competitor activity to management and the marketing team.
- Develop and recommend strategic distribution plans for both monthly and annual cycles to align with business goals.
- Generate and oversee stockists/distributor orders ensuring timely supply and adherence to payment schedules according to company policies.
- Report any adverse drug reactions or customer complaints promptly to seniors in compliance with pharmacovigilance standards and company protocols.
- Maintain company assets, utilize promotional materials responsibly, submit routine tour plans, daily call reports, monthly expense statements, and conform to organizational work norms daily.
Qualifications and Experience
- Graduation in Pharmacy is required.
- Experience ranging from six months to two years in a relevant field is necessary.
